Traktor S4 not playing When Audio Device set to Traktor S4

Hi everyone,

Every time I set my Audio Device to "Traktor Kontrol S4," the tracks stop playing. Whenever I switch the Audio Device to my laptop's speakers, the track continues. All the buttons on the controller work. For example, if i toggle on sync on the controller, it lights up on my laptop. I can't even move to different points in the track.

I'm on Traktor 2.1.2

Laptop Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7 CPU@2GHz
RAM: 8.0GB
System: 64-bit Windows 7

If anyone knows anything about this, please advise.

so, I managed to get it to work, but now it freezes after a couple minutes of usage. Like completely freezes. I need to remove the USB for the controller from laptop and reinsert in order for it to work.

Any ideas?

 

Having same issues could some one please email me the 3.0.0 or 3.0.1 drivers I can not find these anywhere online(not even in the service center) ive read others having the same problem fixed it by rolling back...thnx

 

im having a similar problem but the track is playing when S4 is selected, but there is an intermittent static noise. i just bought a macbook pro and have reinstalled traktor. it worked for a day. then didn't work the next. the things that were different were i installed live 8 and drivers for a novation sound card, and i think i updated to scratch pro 2.5, but i have since uninstalled all of traktor and started back at traktor pro 2 without any updates. same problem keeps happening. any ideas?

 

Hi, i'm having the same problem. When my s4 is plugged, the deck start lagging as hell, but without everything is fine...

Anyone has an idea ?
