    Hi,
    I have looked into S5 and I find it as a perfect controller for my fit, imo its perfect compact size. But what happend to S5? I can't find any reseller who still sell it, it says "Expired product". Does it mean it has been repleaced with S8? I'm not intrested in S8 because of the big size. So if I find S5 is still good idea to invest it?

    Btw I'm a mobile DJ if it's in intreset why I need a controller.

    I have been using my S5 for 3 years now and I love it! With all the technology and controllers out there, I strongly believe the S5 is one of the best.
    It sounds great and I am able to be creative in so many aspects of mixing and remixing, and the unique ways to use the effects and remix decks are endless. All in all if you feel that the S5 is the perfect fit for you, don't second guess yourself and go with that feeling.. you won't be sorry!

    Btw is that possible to plug-in the controller to iPad or iPhone and integrate traktor with Spotify or SoundCloud?

    Unfortunately no.. But you can attach an iphone (I have the iphone Xs Max) using the dongle that comes with the phone and connect a 3.5mm to RCA cable and connect to the AUX input on the S5. I've also seen USB Type C to RCA cables on Amazon.. I would check there for more info..

    So by attach an iphone using these cables you are able to play from soundcloud in the iphone and mix with the S5?

    The s5 isnt made anymore. I got mine from a reseller but the s8 and the f1 have replaced it. For the size that you are looking for maybe try the s4 mk2 or 3 or the numark NV2. If you really want the s5 then reverb or ebay is the best place.

    Yes. One may attach one external audio source to S5 (mic or line - CD/turntable/mp3 player). You could route it to one of the decks, and use the filters, effects, .... just as if it came from computer. Or you may route it to Aux part. In that case you could change only volume on Traktor.... And not in very convenient way.

    It is e pitty, that S5 and D2 is not produced anymore.
