    hi guys

I'm new to traktor scratch, and I'm using the duo version. I use 2 tabletops and an external mixer and plug them in the regular way as discribed in the user manual. So far, the first half hour traktor works fine, but then suddenly, there's one deck (B) that has a very quick change in bpm, it swings between 1 bpm up and one down the mean bpm, and it flickers very fast, you can't even see what the last digits are 'after the comma'. I switched everything but so far, I can't manage repairing it. Can you guys please help me!

    thanks

i am having the same issues i think. i play my decks and the bpm changes every few seconds jumping up. you can really notice it when vocals are being played.

what decks are you using? i tried using the new timecode cd's and they didnt work.

Its wierd this was never happening for the first couple months and then all of a sudden i cant get rid of it. Sometimes it does play fine though but out of nowhere the bpm keep spiking.

Usual question; what do the scopes look like?
And have you got master tempo off on the CDJs?

Well, the scopes actually look pretty good I think, and the master tempo is always switched of

I had the same problem at a gig recently. After about half an hour, if I used internal sync mode everything was totally stable, but deck b when going through timecode CDs would randomly change pitch for a very brief moment.

I spoke to the stage manger and asked if there were any spare CDJs to try and see if worked on them instead, and it was fine. So it could be your CDJ, not Traktor that has the problem. Try switching it over so that the one which was on deck b is now on deck a and if the same problem occurs, you know it's the CDJ.

I'm using version 1.2.6 by the way. I need to updrage to 1.2.7.
