Hello :D I've just purchased Traktor Scratch Duo couple days ago. So far I'm satisfied with the program. However, I found couple of problems while using the DUO. Before I make complain to NI support, I would like to ask couple question here.

    Here is my set up:
    -2 technics 1200s
    -DJM 300 (2 CH mixer)
    -Audio 4 DJ

    • (Difficult Question) My DUO started to play backwards and program dosn't function well when I put the needle on the Traktor vinyl AFTER I used few of my own regular vinyls. The "Phase Meter" (that shows the offset of the beats of other track) acts wildly while I'm using regular vinyls. If I want the DUO to function correctly, I have to close DUO and restart the program again. This causes a problem to me if I am running a song on DUO and a song on a regular vinyl. Do any of you experience this problem?
    • How can I edit the "Comment" box on the track listing? Only time when I can edit the "Comment" box is when the tracks are in the DUO's "Track Collection." When I am not in the "Track Collection," I see a message at the bottom right corner saying, "not editable." I've checked in ther preference box and can't seem to find a way to disable it, that is, if there is a way. The reason why I like to edit my comment is that while playing a song, I like to comment on my tracks at that time. This makes my track search much easier in the future.
    • And at last, is there a way where I can record my set while using the DUO? I see the "REC" indicator on top of the program but can't seem to find how to set it up in my 'preference' box.

Some or all the question may not apply to you. I would greatly appreiciate it if anyone can answer these question, even if it is a 'sorry I cant answer these question.'

    Thanks! Have a wonderful day!

    1. Calibrate your decks (see other thread for that)
    2. You can only edit the tags when the file is in the collection AND when you have either the Track Collection or the Playlists node open
    3. You cannot record in DUO. The REC indicator is misleading
