    I just bought Traktor Scratch Pro 2 and also I is it possible to buy a second hand s4 and just start using it? Or do i have to register the hardware also?

    Yes it does work with any NI hardware. Now I overstand that you have to buy the program and serial to get the access to the harware. Makes sense.
