Does anyone have any idea if fader start will be available in TSP2 for MIDI controllers?

Fader Start is a feature in the Pioneer Edition of Traktor.
I 'assume' that it will be included in TSP2 as well but i need to confirm that.

I'm not gonna drop $1,300 for fader start, so I'm really hoping it can be included, or at the very least have a dedicated play action that can be mapped to the faders. That was honestly the only thing I saw Scratch Pro lacking. Everything else was perfect.

When you push a channel fader Up, the Deck that the Channel Fader is assigned to starts to play.

You dont need to press play, you just push the fader up.

Its used a lot at radio stations.

Can't this feature simply be mapped in MIDI/HID/NHL? I remember doing this for my Zero4 a while back, just for s&g.

I've seen some clever mappings that do this...

...but it's a work around for sure.

That's a good thing. Now I can finally tell VirtualDJ to die. :)

You mean as a general feature of T2? I don't think so. I assume that this is controller related and works with the T1 only. There was a similiar double function of the FIlter knob in Pro S4. Turning the knob on the controller away from the zero position switches the Filter on. But this works only when the S4 is connected and not in general.

But maybe I'm wrong about the Fader Start.
