Ye i have to second that, i just bought a new VAIO laptop, P8400 Dual Core, 4GB RAM (Vista) and im getting the same thing. My Latency settings aren't ridiculous either, set to Low Latency at a modest 5ms.

Any help appreciated, ive done a fresh core only install of windows bypassing all of Sonys crapware too!

Yeah I seem to have the same or similar problem...it appeared kinda out of the blue. I was using TSP for a while without any problems and now suddenly there is some cracking/clicking noise like the needle is messed up. So i changed the needle...same thing and then I tried it with cd's and I got the same thing again...I have no idea what is causing it. I re-connected everything twice and grounded the equipment so I have no clue now. I did a bit of research and there are quite a few ppl complaining of similar problems.

My set up is a Asus with 4 gb ram, 2ghz dual core 2 running on xp sp3. I have djm 600 with 1210's mk2 that I generally use with traktor but I tried it with cdj's 400 and got the same thing.

I tried messing around with the latency and other preference settings in traktor with no result.

P.S. I only use the above mentioned equipment with traktor so I didn't really change anything...i.e the laptop is for music only so no virus etc...

p.p.s the ram usage is around 25-30 percent 40 with all the filters...

    Anyways any help is useful
    Thanks

Mac user here and I've been experiencing the "clicking cue" ever since I got TSP. I thought the update to 1.1.1 would remedy this problem but it is still there. I'm hoping it's not because of a faulty Audio 8.

If you are in Scratch Mode set the timestretch method to ECO?

    Hey all

I just got a brand new copy of Scratch Pro today and I think this noise you are talking about is what I have. I cant figure what or if I am doing anything wrong. I was a Serato user til today so am familiar with all this so no basic mistakes. My tracks play fine in internal mode, relative mode but when I am in absolute mode I have problems and its to do with noise when a track is cued

With the control CD, when I press cue on the CDJ I hear this awful glitchy sustained noise. Its like some bit crushing effect with a filter ontop (yes, the FX are turned off!) but when I play the track it dissapears. Basically the silence you normally get when you press cue is replaced with this sound.

With the control vinyl, when in absolute mode and when I lift the needle to jump to diff parts of the track, as soon as the needle lifts, Scratch Pro jumps to Relative mode and when I am holding the needle up I hear that noise again.

I cant think of any logical reason for why this is happening but Im hoping that this is easily fixed as I have been looking forward to getting stuck into TSP for a while!

    Help!

I have digital artifacts when scratching with my MIDI Pots (Xone 4D)

Audible when doing a very slow scratch. Will test with timecode.
