Traktor Scratch S4 Upgrade Kit

Ive just sold my S4 but kept the upgrade kit which i paid for seperately, does that mean i can still you the scratch software with an A6 package?

 

You don't need the S4 upgrade kit if you have a Traktor Scratch A6 package.

Just clarifying because I misread these...

TP Duo doesn't exist anymore. There's TP and TSP. If you have a "Scratch certified"
interface or mixer, you can use TSP. If not, only TP will work.

This is where it gets tricky. On the one hand, the S4 includes TP as part of the whole package, so you cannot sell one without the other. On the other hand, the TSP Upgrade Kit is independent so you can sell that independently of the S4.

Just make sure that you deregister from NI for all of the products you intend to sell prior to shipping them.

Both the old and new Scratch Upgrade Kits were sold separately by NI, so there's no problem with you also selling them separately. The OP wasn't asking about selling the Traktor Pro license that came with the S4.

I have the old s4 upgrade kit and i was thinking that if i want to sell it what would it be compatible with today? A buyer doesn't have to have an s4 & traktor s4 but s4 & current tp is compatible or how does it work?

 

The old kit requires a Traktor Pro 2 serial to upgrade from.
