Traktor screen freezes for a second when loading trackes

    I have a MAC Book Pro 4GB Ram when i load a new track or a sample the screen freezes for a moment, anybody help on this

    Mine always does that. Never affects the sound though....

    same here, but it never affects the sounds. It sucks deffo because when i use the up/down arrow to scroll through the playlist it jumps 10 or more tracks down and then i have to scroll back :(. it seems to be a thread priority prob in traktor. tryed a lot of system configurations but the prob still exists. :(

    I have experience the same with my Mac Book 2,1.. will this affect in a long 5 to 6 hrs play...

    No...as long as it is only for a millisecond. I play 6 hr sets. Never a problem. Just an annoyance....cuz it does make your heart flutter. I don't have that other problem though. I don't use explorer to search for a track. All my tracks are analyzed in the Collection or if I haven't added something, in iTunes. But I rarely pull something from there if I am playing live. I think Traktor works best when everything you play is analyzed and in the collection.....IMHO.

    I have the same problem on my laptop. But I have this problem when I load a collection for example "Sample", or if I select all track in Track Collection. Tracktor freeze but not the sound.

    I haven't any problem if I take a track directly in explorer

    I think the problem it's my Track collection ( 120 Gb) and All track are not analyzed. But in previous version, I haven't this problem.

    exact same problem though mine locks up for around 7 secs (sound still playing) before traktor resumes. Seems also to be from a playlist i have created and loading a track.

    regardless if it doesnt remove the audio when it freezes, it is still a huge issue. I did an 8 hour set at an afterhours this week, and let me tell you, every time I loaded a track and saw the screen freeze for that moment, I prayed to the DJ gods...
