hehe - I've been running similar ideas through my head - my latest is "Red Tin Tunes"
I'm seriously thinking of building a PC into the tin with a flat panel screen in the lid - I built a PC in a cheap plastic Ikea filing cabinet once so this shouldn't be too difficult.
I'm also going to wire the sound card in so there are just two output sockets on the back of the box and a headphone socket on the front.

^^ I'm having fun reading the descriptions of the Noc Noc! Sounds like a fun place.

My friend from high school went down to the Haight-Ashbury area (where your club is) one summer for a couple of weeks during the peak of the hippy era.

haha...funny stuff there. I've known the owner since 1994 and have been djing there for almost that time. It really is a true neighborhood living room. I started out playing ambient Mondays to today's Friday night electronic and breaks sound. One of the reviews above mentioned how loud the place was. It's a very hard place to monitor as the dj is in a closet sized room by the back :) I'm always aware of that and try to monitor for loudness.

Here's some recent pics of my studio setup. I broadcast live Internet radio shows from here every week, plus a weekly "housecast" every Sunday afternoon that features on www.zetcast.com and iTunes. There's a 4 channel DJM, a pair of XP10's, a CDJ, Kaosspad 3, Elektribe DR1 (and an EA1 MKII out of shot), a small 4 channel mixer for the AKG mic and Elektribes (feeds into the DJM). Traktor 3.2 runs on the Mac mini, and there's a PC on the right that runs Soundforge for recording:

another shot from a weird angle:

close-up of the mixer and XP10's:

    and a close-ip of the XP10:

For live work I use a Macbook and a BCR2000, but once the Intel midi driver is available I'll use the XP10's.

Tune into Radio }Moose every Sunday @ 3pm GMT. Full details from:

    Cheers,
