Clean, modernist design in a DJ rig - seriously, well done!

 

I don't usually have my gear setup at home, so, a coupla gig piccys for you (not FS);

Heres my setup.. It's not 100% as i'm saving for a Xone 6 but the Earinger will do for the time being...

One thing i will say with Laptop DJ'ing... You end up carrying more stuff than with CD or Vinyl to a Club Hurumph...

 

Not me. Laptop, Mouse, 410, Cables, BCR2000 (if there is room), Octopus power strip, Backup Hard Drive, iPod. Thats it.

What u put in the master fader?
it's a ruber tape?
why dont u put it under the alluminium plate?

Thanks a lot. It took a long time to measure everything out and find a way to hide all the cables but the end result was worth it. Ill post some pics complete with cdjs soon.

Hi,

Yep Its tape... the Earinger mixer faders are so slack, i use to knock them when playing out so i had to tape them up.

Its only tempory as am saving for a Xone 6:2....

Hi Al,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you! It is not a bad controller for TDJS 3, although the play/pause buttons are starting to give problems, and I've messed up the odd live mix because they failed to start! I never use it live now, although I still use it in the studio.
