So...am I to deduce that by the 'winky' face and the blatant picture of a Denon sound card and your signature that you are in fact using Serato DJ and not TSP.
If you had posted a picture of TSP on the Serato forum you would be ripped to shreds by the members and no doubt be asked to remove it by the moderators.

    IMG_3806.JPG My dj/producer consists of:
2 stanton T.62 turntables (I gig every weekend so I went for the lightweight instead of the original 1200s)
Stanton headshells and Shure M44-7 cartridges and Needles
Novation Dicers for cueing and looping
Stanton M.505 which sounds just like an UREI 1603 I sold not long ago (sound quality is important always)
    NI Audio 8
    NI Kontrol X1 MK2
    NI Kontrol F1
    ADAM F7 monitors
    Macbook Pro i5 8GB Ram 500GB HDD Mid 2012
I got this stanton 5 channel mixer for 60 bucks on eBay! I needed the 4 decks + 1 for my BeathTang Sampler/Sequencer. the mixer of course it was in need of maintenance for it to go back to its original glory! Has GREAT sound! The dicers i got 'em locally for 70 bucks and the turntables I got 'em used and for cheap also on eBay and they are working nicely! loving all the setups on the forum!

Keep it up Guys! Love from Panama (Central America)

I like the workflow of the D2s combined with Vinyl control, and now with Ableton Link, and the Step Sequencer, the line is truly blurred between DJing, Producing, and Live Performance.

@claytonthechemist how awkward does that spacing feel with the turntables spaced that far apart?
The D2's on the inside tables on the outside looks like it could be more comfortable than having the D2's on the outside.

At first I had my D2s on the outside, because I like to scratch, and thought the distance would interfere with my scratching. However I wasn't able to make full use of the capabilities of the D2 because they were such a reach. I tried with the D2s on the inside, and the workflow greatly improved, but I was surprised to find the increased distance didn't affect my scratching as much.

I'm sure for elite and DMC style stuff, the turntables are too far apart, but it's just fine for what I do.

You definitely notice a difference if your D2's are in the wrong position for your methods.
I pair my D2's off to the right of my S4 which just feels natural and I only have to reach over to the S4 for mixer related task.
It also allows me to throw a 1200 or 1000mk2 on the left of the S4 without it being displaced.

I was just curious if you tried it both ways to see which was better or just went with the inside automatically.

Man, what happened to the browse knob on the right D2? Also, what flightcase is that that fits a mixer and 2 D2s?
