Also for the people joining this topic I will left here a “videoproof” from stablished Youtuber dj so ANYONE could see how it was straightforward to load and mix with Spotify (and it will be probably with any well implemented streaming service)

Absolutely. That’s why we don’t need streaming services in Traktor. No reason to play compressed mp3 **** (Spotify is streaming more shitty Ogg/Vorbis). MP3s are from a time when storage space was still expensive and the internet was slow.
I won’t hurt ears of my crowd with that ****.

Buy uncompressed music. Do a proper preparation and entertain your crowd with what they deserve. Nice, crisp and highly dynamic sound.

We can talk again when there is a lossless streaming service out there that fits much better into 2021

The point that it can be done isn't disputed.
The point remains that it's still not permitted.

Spotify are under a lot of pressure at the moment to pay artists more royalties. I think they have more on their hands than dealing with the needs of DJs. ;)

Read previous comments please about your first statement.

About permission it's clear that the tidal or other services is the way to go.

I've been reading and contributing to this thread since it's beginning.
You posted a link with Spotify not Tidal.
My post was about Spotify not Tidal.

Yup but someone asked about "videoproof" so "disputing it" (aside it wasn't necessary or not) ;)
In fact the dispute was about impossibility of djing from stream service. Your first quote today seemed like you weren't on the discussion (or lost why I left that last message days ago)

There is a DJ platform that supports Spotify.
Try it, make a video that you are doing the transition with the song that you don't have, and LET ME FUCKIN LAUGH AT YOU. This thread is for noobs complaining.

Between horrible sound and the lack of money for the artists I'll pass.

At least bring Tidal integration. Tidal is partnering with Algoriddim djay and Serato it works flawless.
