Hi..i have some problems with traktor and i dont know where to look to find a solution to this problem.

The thing is that i have the Vestax VCI-100, and i experience odd behavior with almost everything.

    * The xfader does not work perfectly. Either it only goes 70-80% of the physical way, in traktor stopping like 15% from the edges... leaving me with a super wet mix.

    * When i get the xfader to one side, as soon as i touch the jog wheel, the xfader starts to wobble and jump... leaving me with a wet mix......Serious MIDI leakage!

    * The effects section stops working sometimes.. it just hangs... stops responding to MIDI messages or something.

    * The leds on the VCI-100 is turned off once in a while. For instance, if i have a mode selected, and that mode is shown with a led. Like a effect bank turned on. After a while, the led is shut off, not showing if i have that mode selected and leaving me to believe that its not selected.....

Right now, im not too happy with this program, and dekadance seems more solid and working better! Any ideas?

Heres a video to show some of the strange behavior with the xfade!

My guess is that Traktor is getting multiple messages from the jog controls and the same message used by the Xfader is being produced by the jog wheels too. Try stripping down to a bare control map with just the xfader in it and see what happens when you activate the jog wheels.

MIDI-OX can also show you what messages are being produced by your controller.

There is no such thing as midi leakage. You've either got your faders/jogs mapped to too many conflicting functions or your vci is functioning incorrectly. What mapping are you using?

Thanks for the reply. Well, i tried it in Ableton to see what data is sent, and also didnt think about the data send led before but data is sent constantly. Must be a hardware thing then i suppose. :/

Im using the DJTT 2.5 mapping. But also tried the vestax one and the one supplied with traktor pro.

Fixed... new controller, but still contacts loose inside. Took a while to fix!

Yeah I've had problems with one of the line faders in the vci-100 continually sending midi, had to tighten up the screws.

Soemthing I have found too in older builds is that contant jabbering data can confuse Traktor and even cause it to crash. I've not seen an actual crash from this in Pro 1.2.x but both T3 and Pro 1.0 it was possible. Hard to produce, but possible under the right conditions.
