Hey I would be really grateful if someone could help me with this problem i've been having for quite a while now, I really need to sort it so that I can use Traktor properly.

I'll try to explain the problem as best as possible.. i've just recently changed from PC to Mac. In windows, I used to be able to drag tracks from the iTunes program directly into Traktor. Now this is impossible. Also, even worse, (and the main problem) is that Traktor Pro 2 will see my iTunes library in the program including my playlists, yet it will not play the tracks, even though Traktor is looking in the right place, and can see all of the tracks.

90% of them say corrupt, DRM Protected, or missing file, when they play perfectly in iTunes. This seems like a simple filepath error, but I really don't think it is, i've tried everything!

Some help would be really appreciated..

    Thanks, Peter

Is your Itunes library on an external drive? If so what's the drive formatted in? ie NTFS, Fat32?

Hi thanks for the fast reply. The music is all on the Mac Partition. It's all stored directly in the internal drive, and plays with absolutely no problems off of iTunes.

Sometimes the newer tracks work - 'sometimes'. The but 90% of them won't, and it's not worth even trying. I've tried refreshing iTunes, it finds the updated library with new tracks etc, so it's up to date, but it won't be able to play most of them

I'm having exactly the same issue, frankly I've been waiting for 2 days (YES!) for my music to load on Traktor and now it won't even say hi to Itunes playlist or play ball at all.

The premade Traktor samples load and play just fine. I can see all my iTunes music in the Traktor browser but they don't load if I try to drag and drop them.

I keep my itunes on an external and everything was working fine until I had to wipe my mac laptop and reinstall the OS, now when installing tracktor back it won't play any itunes tracks?

It worked before so why not now?

Yeah I'm also super annoyed with this.

    1. Buy 10 tracks from Beatport
    2. Download them to a folder called "music"
    3. Drop them int a Traktor playlist
    4. Only 6 work the rest are "corrupt or DRM protected"

    :S

I just re-downloaded the tracks using IE, not Chrome and they work now. Weird... 6 tracks copied fine with Chrome and 4 with IE.

Not really a solution but solved my problem for now.
