Hello everyone, i was organizing my macbook from inside, like oranizing all the folders and stuff.
Today i open traktor and set up wizard appears , after it all my recordings are erased! i can find them on the recordings folder but they are not in traktor! also all my settings for midi mappings, layouts, preferences ALL ALL ALL erased!
And any time i want to play a song (from itunes, because track collection folder has also been erased)it says TRACK COULD NOT BE PLAYED DUE TO A MISSING OR CORRUPT FILE, UNSUPPORTED FORMAT OR DRM PROTECTION.
Seriously what the hell is that! I just reorganized my laptop ant this thing is so sensitive to erase all my stuff? i cant use traktor for anything! right now it just wastes space on my computer! i really like traktor really, but stuff like that just really pisses me offfff because i did not do anyting that is supposed to be wrong!
    AH!
THANK YOU NATIVE INSTRUMENTS BECAUSE YOU SUPPORT REALLY SUCKS! I WROTE YOU LIKE 6 TIMES AND YOU JUST SAY F***** ANYTHING!

If anyone been through the same issues could share a little help....i really want to fix this, but to see what i did and what it is right now makes me want to smash this freakin coputerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

thanks in advance (srry 4 vocabulary)........butttttttttt you know! that really sucks!

Ok, first of all drop the attitude. It is not welcome here, neither is the bad language.

This is your error. Period. It is simple user error.

When you move your music you break the path that Traktor uses to locate the music.
The Traktor Collection is nothing more that a collection of links/paths to the songs on your hard drive. So... when you move the tracks to new folders or rename them you break the paths and Traktor cannot find them.

If you had read the Traktor manual you would know this.

You need to click on the Traktor Collection and and perform "Check Consistency" this will tell you that your Tracks are missing. You then need to "Reclocate Missing Tracks" and point Traktor to the Main Folder that you have your music in.
You also need to check which folder you have assigned in Preferences > Data Location... and whether this is still correct.

Read the manual on setting up and Import Music collections/Folders.

Next time you seek help from this forum i strongly suggest that you adopt a better, more friendly approach.
