I want to make the transition from an analog vinyl (Technics 1200’s/Ecler NUO5) setup to starting to use Traktor/other digital DJ setup. During the transition I want to continue using vinyl but introduce additional 2-channels via digital source via my laptop (4 channels).

    What is the best option?
Buy an NI Audio-6 or 10 soundcard + X1 controller?
Buy a hybrid controller/mixer to combine both analog/digital worlds? Also, to digitize my vinyl collection, which is the better option?

    thx!

well there is no "best option" it is really up to you to decide which route suites you the best ...
you can get audio 2 and x1 as an add-on to your current setup
    pros: cheapest way
cons: not the most convenient way of mixing between vinyl and digital

or get audio 6/10 and go to the dvs route
pros: keep the analog feel of 1210s with control vinyl
cons: for 4 channels you would need 4 turntables or 2 turntables and 2 CDJs

or go for s4 and plug your 1210s in channels C/D
    pros: the most convenient
    cons: most expensive

    digitize vinyl collection
pros: no more lugging of heavy vinyl to every gig,
cons: time consuming (depending on your collection size)
