i was wondering how to trigger multiple groups (A, B, C, D etc...) in maschine by using drag & drop midi.

i understand how to set up various aux outputs for the other 7 channels to get 8 separate outs, & i understand the concept of setting the group midi export to separate midi channels.

but after you drag & drop say group A onto the original maschine instrument channel; whereby midi channel 1 is triggering group A, & then you drag & drop group B to a new instrument channel, how do you get this midi/inst channel on midi channel 2 to trigger group B?

it's fairly easy to do in abelton but haven't worked out how to do it in logic pro.

    cheers!

choose a Multitimbral version of an Instrument in Logic, and load Maschine. You can use Sounds to MIDI Batch Setup to have different MIDI Channels for each Group. you can then Drag n Drop onto the different MIDI Channels created by the Multitimbral instance of Maschine on the Logic Arrange page.

well at least how i think it should work ;)
