Trouble getting piano from keyboard

    I have had an M Audio 88es keyboard for 2 months now. The nearest I have got to playing it was a few awful sounds (e.g. Airport piano) in Ableton Live. I now have Elektrik Piano, and can get a piano sound using the mouse on the keyboard shown in the software. Also when I depress the keyboard keys, the keyboard in the software shows the keys I am pressing - but no sound - so near and yet so far!
