    Hi, I just installed Kontakt Player 2 with GPO on my laptop, where I would like to use it with Sibelius and Sonar. I’m using M-audio Fast Track Pro as a USB audio interface. When I open Kontakt Player, I get an Audio Setup dialogue box. I have ASIO selected as the interface, and M-Audio USB ASIO selected as the output device. When I click okay, I get an error message that says:

    “You have to set at least a valid audio interface. Try again?”

    Any ideas what I could do to solve this?

    Thanks,
    Brad

    Welcome =)

    Do you have power management to the USB hubs shut off in device manager? If not, that's the first thing I'd do; it sounds as if the port's powered down.

    Library Path

    I too am having problems getting KP@ to behave properly. I had it running great on Mac OS X 10.4.11, but I had to upgrade to 10.5.6. I have finally gotten things to behave somewhat correctly, but for some reason, KP2 will not remember the library path. I open it in the stand alone player, set the path to the external drive where the samples are located, and it plays fine. Yet when I reopen it, it has gone back to looking in the original KP2 folder, not the external drive. It doesn't remember the path I set!

    Any thoughts?
