trouble with cue points

i am using traktor djs 2.6.1 and i have set up a single cue point in a track. what i want to do is to play past this cue point and then at a certain point press the cue/pause button to go back to this cue point, and then after a couple of seconds the play button to resume the track from the cue point. the problem that i am having is that when i load the track into the one of the decks traktor automatically creates a cue point at the start of the track which then becomes the current cue point, so that when i press the cue/pause button, the track is paused at the start of the track rather than at my locked cue point. i then have to use the cue select button to move to the cue point i want before resuming the track. this is rather fiddly given that i only want to pause the track for a couple of seconds. is there a way of getting traktor to not put a cue point at the start of the track so that my locked cue point is the only cue point, or is there another way of accessing this cue point, whilst pausing the track, with the press of one button?

Try setting your cue point to 'deck load' and enable the relevant option in the option menus (sorry...can't remember where it is) The deck will then load at the 'deck load' cue point.
