trouble with purchased stem files

    Hi,

    I just bought a couple stem tracks from beatport to try out with the latest version of Traktor Pro 2 (2.9.0 R1257). First off, the files are <filename>.mp4, not <filename>.stem.mp4. Is this an error? FYI, the free stem tracks from the NI website have .stem.mp4 extensions.

    Secondly, I loaded both the free and purchased tracks in the Tracktor stems decks (after analyzing) but I'm not seeing a way to isolate the stems elements, or assign midi control to each element.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Do you have some NI controllers? It workes seamess with my S8.
    I think 3rd party controllers are not supported yet, at least i did not find midi mappings for the stem controls and there is no difference regarding deck flavors or something like that. I don´t think you can use stems only with the software :/
