    Hi
Stupid me went to China and in the chaos packing my K* discs were thrown away.

No problem though my purchased files are in my account.

I have downloaded them several time and had some instructions from the help team but I cannot get them to load completely.

Part way through installation it keeps asking to insert DISK A ...

I really am lost with this. I run win 8.1 on a ASUS laptop with I7processor and 16gb Ram.

Anyone else have this problem ? Can anyone help?

    Cheers
    John

When the message appears, did you try to mount the required disc image next?

Most of the libraries are distributed onto the other discs/images, so you usually have to swap between them or load the next one during installation.
Here's an overview about the disc contents: http://www.native-instruments.com/e...-required-to-install-a-particular-ni-product/

Yes I did but it just goes into a loop asking to insert a disk.

I have tried everything I know but to no avail.

Some things you can try, if you haven't already:
    • Try running the installer as administrator (via the right-mouse-click option)
    • Try to only select and install one application of Komplete at a time.
    • In your file manager look for the option to show hidden files. Then check the installation image/disc for the individual installers and try to run them directly from there.
    • Are you using Windows itself (File Explorer) to mount the images? In this case maybe try using a third party application for this.

Yahoo I have installed Komplete 8.
I had to mount each disk iso manually and eject each iso manually.

I did think this would be an automatic process but no matter it is done now.

    Thank you for your tips.

Hi, I've had the exact same problem and still can't seem to get anything working despite having all the ISO's downloaded.
Any chance you could talk me through step by step how you managed to get it sorted.....
    Cheers

Which operating system are you using?

It usually should work like this:
    (1) Start by mounting the first ISO-file #1
    (2) When asked to insert the next disc or ISO-file #2 -> manually unmount ISO #1 and mount the next ISO #2
    (3) Repeat step 2 (swapping to the next ISO file when asked) until you got through the whole installation process.

If manually mounting and unmounting the ISOs one by one doesn't work natively, try using a 3rd party application to do this.

I've eventually got it working with that method using Daemon Tools. For some reason when using the Windows mount option it just wasn't working.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated!!
