Howdy, first off, I'm super jacked... last night I made the first step from a bedroom dj to doing my first dj gig - and I gotta say, I rocked the house! This made possible by Traktor Scratch Pro =)

To preface, I was using TSP 1.1.1 (not sure what the last number was as I upgraded my software first thing when I came home to 1.1.2.004), so maybe somebody with more experience can tell me if these issues have been resolved OR if there are some settings or setup changes I can make to resolve these.

[PROBLEM] After loading a track, and resetting my cdj to the beginning of track 2 on the timecode disc - hitting play sometimes (fairly rarely, but it happens) results in the track not playing, and exploding into a large block of yellow in the track visual screen. The only way I've found to get the track to properly play, after this occurence, is to reload the track into the software. [WORKAROUND] I find gently scratching the first half second of #2 track before hitting the play button get's timecode functionality working A-OK, and any actions after that work as expected. (Maybe this is just a placebo for me, I don't know, but I've go into the habit of doing this - tho, I did forget to do it the time the problem happened to me during a time critical moment ;))

I was aware of this issue beforehand in my practice experience, but I wasn't aware of how much more difficult it would suddenly get to fix when 200 people are watching you. Right now I'm just borrowing the CDJs, and I fully plan on purchasing vinyl decks when I get the money - is this an issue exclusive the cdjs? And/or what other types of timecode issues can I expect if/when making the switch to vinyl?

    Thanks

calibrate timecode then set a load marker @ begining of track
