Ok I haven't been able to find this out anywhere yet. I'm wanting to know what is the difference essentially between traktor pro and scratch pro. I currently have a djm-800 and
2x Cdj-400, and want to also get 2 Allen & Heath xone 1d's. Actually this is almost the same setup as Pablo la Rosa, in the demo videos. But all I need to know is do I need the audio 8 dj? My cdj-400's are midi capable and so are the xone 1d's. Will the sound quality be the max potential. How does Pablo and Richie Hawtin have their setup? I wish it would say in the video, that's pretty important. Thanks!

P.S. Could some explain the timecode control please... What is it, and is it needed If I'm using midi only?

The difference is that Traktor Pro does not have the possibility for timecode control, whereas Traktor Scratch Pro does. If you have TSP, it doesn't matter what audio card you use... Just take care that the card you use is fast enough.

    Specifics...please

I guess what I'm asking is why do you need and audio 8 when midi can go straight to the laptop? Besides the audio 8 only has ONE midi in... So how would I route a Korg nanoPAD, 2 Allen & Heath xone 1d's, and 2 Pioneer Cdj-400's. I'm kinda new to the digital dj field...

#1: I think those are all USB
    #2: Midi is chain-able

You need an Audio for timecode.
