Getting used to the new interface, and I now have access to a Xone:4D so things should progress nicely from now on ... the only trouble I have had is how do you use Traktor Scratch Pro with only 1 control deck?

It was very easy in T3, all you did was change the input routing matrix to another virtual deck and they swapped from external control to internal deck and vice-versa.

It is not that simple (or I just have not found it yet) in the new and improved Traktor Scratch Pro ... can anyone help?

    Thank-you!

So is there a 1 deck control option at all now?

    Thanks!

preferences -> timecode setup -> assign to decks -> assign all decks to one channel.
turn off "switch to absolute mode in lead-in" (otherwise all your decks will start simultaneously)

    1. load a track to deck A, deck will be switched to absolute mode.
    2. play it with timecode cd or vinyl
    3. load next track to deck B, deck will be switched to absolute mode and
deck A - to internal mode. now you can control deck B by timecode cd or vinyl.
    4. same step for deck C & D.

Thanks for that, it wasn't that easy to work out after turning up to the gig and having to use only 1 player for control ... it was easier to go back to TS 1.2 where I knew how it would work.

I didn't see anything in the manual about it either ... it might be my selective blindness though ...

After trying it now it realy wasn't that hard ... :)
