Just switched to TSP2 from SSL and im having a hard time adapting to it. at this point im totally regretting my purchase..

My main problem is when I load Traktor it doesnt recognize my decks (1200's) right away. I have to go through the set up wizard then I have to go and enable decks A & B. Am I missing something here? Shouldnt I just be able to open up Traktor and everything is enabled and ready to go?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Mike

    Setup

You have to use the Audio 6 or 10 Control panel to set you Decks to phono looks like this. Select Phono on Each Channel in the panel.

Top right corner is how the panel looks like pending on what card u have audio 6 or 10

Appreciate the help bro..I'm using audio 10 but when I go into applications every audio box is there except audio 10! This has got to be the most frustrating thing I've ever encountered..im taking the loss and switching back to SSL

Its not the most user friendly..

But it's damn powerful, and with the 909, like you have, it's rediq what you can do, my problem is getting the X1's to map so you can toggle between live mode which allows the signal to route through TSP2, combining the fx with the 909's, then record to logic..it isn't easy, I am dire need of the Traktor 2 Bible that is a pain in the arse to find locally.

    Hey Mikey

Keep it bro. If u can sell and recoup the cost then kool but dont spend any mor eloot bro. I feel your pain on this. Traktor is powerful in certain areas and i wish NI would implemnt some of Serato.

But the overall workflow of traktor is aweful I came back after leaving this product in 2003 and workflow hasnt improved

@c4rlo Its def powerful I give it that I think I'm just in information overload right now I been doin this since '92 and I feel like a newbie lol once I figure out the basics like finding my audio 10 control panel lol I'll attemp to start mapping te x1

@thebasementwonder thank god! I thought it was just me with the workflow! Like i said above i feel like a damn newbie. I'm gonna give it another month to try and adapt if I still don't feel comfortable I'm putting it up on eBay. Maybe even get rid of my whole setup (1200s, 909 and x1) maybe make the switch to cdj or another controller..
