Hello im using Traktor Scratch Pro 2(2.5.0) A6, Vestax decks, Laptop Intel Core i5 2.40GHz 8GB Ram Windows 7

When i scratch, the track in the Traktor software is jumping forward! the needle is not jumping & the digital vinyl in brand new & the standard scratch vinyl works perfectly no matter how much greif i give it.

Does anyone know what is causing the problem? Or Can anyone help with any setting in Traktor of on the PC to help with the problem?

    Thanks

Do you check the Scope and info on it? Calibration ok? Grounding ok?

Pretty new to TSP2, i have the Platter setup, if i use the Scope what will i be looking for?

& the Ground from the decks to mixer?
If so they are fix decent.

There is a ground on the A6 but that isnt grounded as i thought you only use that when the AC plug is used, is that wrong?

I can see a skipping there, but i think its from the record, you need to set up your turntable better (tonearm weight, etc.) , also you can switch to relative mode, so the jumping won't be "brutal" like that.
Another think, sometimes the Record ( i don't known if this is your case ) comes with a huge center hole that helps the skipping, just put a sticker to fix it.

The deck worked perfect with standatd vinyl, does it need to be set up different for digital vinyl?

How do you switch relative mode?

& ye checked the holes, i have 4 digial vinyl, 2 old to new & it does it with all of them.

Double checked the deck set up & re calabrated the tone arm, antiskate & relised the height adjust was set to the lowest setting

All seems to be work fine now with the Standard & Digital vinyl.

    Thanks for the help.

Just use relative mode. Press the turntable looking icon without the tonearm.
