Purchased & plugged in Reloop Digital Jockey 2, and installed the ASIO drivers for MAC. Didn't install the bundled Traktor LE software as i've already got TSPro v1.2.7 installed.
After setting up and configuring a few bits and pieces, had it all working perfectly, and exported settings. That was easy, and was very happy, until i switched it all back on again, and now i can't it to work like before.

Firstly line faders & crossfader isn't working. Audio is playing on deck A but can't control it with the fader (it's up permanently) & Audio on right deck isn't playing except through headphones. Headphone control doesn't work although when i turn the rotary knobs on mix & gain, the value changes in traktor but you can't see the knob turn.
Jogwheels work OK, 4 deck loading, Frequency knobs all good inc cut offs, effects also seem fine, inc browsing selecting and loading.

I can't understand why if all was perfect out of the box.

I have looked at upgrading the reloop firmware, but don't know how to do this with a MAC. Instructions i've seen are for windows only.

    Any help or ideas please!

Running Macbook Pro, OSX 10.6.5, 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB Ram, Traktor Scratch Pro, Reloop Digital Jockey 2 Master Edition.

Your Output setup is probably still set up as external mixing.

    set it to internal.

    Frace....You is a Star!

How come Traktor don't reload settings then?
So far i've set Traktor and saved settings to work with, INTERNAL, INTERNAL with EXT MIXER on 2 Channels, TIMECODED DISCS, & RELOOP.
Don't tell me i'm gonna have to configure each and everytime my dj'ing environment changes? Surely if settings are saved, and i'm checking everybox available when exporting, i should be able to import settings and away i go....shouldn't I?

    :D
    Well

Probably the Main thing that will change is
    • the Layout (Which you can save and quickly change)
    • and the Routing, where the mixing mode and even the soundcard may change (Audioo 4/8 - Reloop Master)

How is Traktor supposed to know when it's supposed to use what Audio routing?

If you try changing the Soundcard in Traktor while a Deck is running it will probably crash, so why make an easy selector like the layout one :D

What will save you time setting everythign up everytime is exporting each setting as a TSI and then importing it when you need it.

I have been exporting as .tsi files. Like i said....i've saved 4 of them for each environment that i'll probably play in. One of them was Reloop.
