Turntable help!

I used to have a Numark TT 200 USB turntable that I hooked up to mbox pro and I could play it through my monitors (krk rokits). That turn table broke months ago and I upgraded to a Stanton str8-150 turntable. Being that it was months ago I don't remember how I had it set up to play through my mbox and through my monitors.

The Stanton has both phono and line output. I should just be able to use RCA to TRS 1/4s from my turntable to the mbox and get sound but nothing is coming out!

Secondly I can set it to phono and run it through a phono pre amp then to the line inputs on mbox but I don't get any sound out of the monitors either that way.

The only way I get any sound out of the monitors is to set it to line and run it through the phono preamp and into the line inputs on mbox. The sound is extremely faint though and I'm aware this is not a proper method of hooking up.

Also to mention I can record the vinyl into maschines sampler but I just can't hear the audio while the vinyls recording. That means we know the audio is indeed being transferred from my turntable through the mbox but why not to my monitors?

I'm really at a loss here. Someone please help!
