With Panasonic not producing 1200s anymore, are you gonna ditch them for using Traktor with a controller instead? Im getting back into DJing, had serato and left. Now I just bought a technic 1200 mk2 for production but was looking at getting tracktor scratch pro and a used 1200 mk2 or getting the S4s whats the best route you think? Thanks

More I use controller, more I like it.... less I use my SLs. I'll keep them, but since awhile I Haven't carry them with me on the road. Even at the night club, I rarely use those we have there. CD player with timecode? Nope, no longer for me If I have room to fit my controllers.

Things ans my mind changed since I begun to use TSP with controllers.

Didn't they only stop producing the mk2s?

That's up to you and depends alot on your spinning style.
If you like scratching and juggling or in general the feel of vinyl, buy that second SL.
If not, a controller will do fine.
You can also add a controller later on to complete your gear and switch between TT's and controller.

Bear in mind that for superb scratching and ultra low latency settings you need a powerhorse computer too.

Dead yeah, every year same story, bought mine from thomann.de for 555eur and now the price is boosted up to 698eur hahahaha, it is another panasonic trick to raise the price! anyway if they stopped producing it I would be happy, I can sell mine for big price few years later . . just kiddin' I would never sell my turntables, love them and I wont replace them with any other piece of equip (CDJ's, midi, etc . . .)

Plenty more other turntables on the market.
Has anyone used the Vestax TT's. Use them once or twice and you will love them!

Higher torque, reverse, extra pitch. I personally think they're better than Technics TT's but Technics became the standard and it was hard to budge people!
