    Hi everybody,

    I just want to share with you a trick that I am using for several months. It especially works on a low-spec PC in order to reduce "cracks" when you have a low latency (10ms). I think it also helps on a high-spec PC.

    Test if it does something

    1. Reduce your latency to 10ms
    2. Launch Traktor, play a song, and open/use some other programs to see if you have cracks
    3. Then, set Traktor to high priority
    • Open Task Manager (ctrl + shift + esc)
    • Go to "Details" tab
    • Find Traktor.exe
    • Right-click -> Set priority -> High or Realtime
    • Test again with a song to check if you still have cracks
    If it works, do what is following.

    Launch Traktor with high priority

    1. Open start menu
    2. Find Traktor
    3. Right-click -> More -> Open file location
    4. Right-click -> Send to -> Desktop (create shortcut)
    5. Go to the desktop
    6. Right-click the Traktor shortcut -> Replace the target exactly with this (don't forget the quotes, and change the letter following your drive if needed) : C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start /realtime "Traktor 2" "C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor 2\Traktor.exe"
    7. Click on Change icon -> Browse
    8. Go to the Traktor 2 folder (default C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Traktor 2)
    9. Choose All files just above the Open button
    10. Click on Traktor.exe -> Open
    11. Select the appropriate icon
    12. Drag the shortcut to your taskbar
    13. Launch Traktor
    14. Check if Traktor is set to high priority
    I hope that it will maybe help you (sorry for my english, I am french).

    Just thought i'd inform that after installing Traktor Pro 3, i used your method, only changed where you mentioned " Traktor 2 " & changed to " Traktor Pro 3 " & the priority has been changed. SOOOOOO Happy........

    Thanks again for this posted. Helps alot.
