[TUTORIAL] How to make Traktor 2.6.1 run in windows xp

    As I have dualboot system I tried the following with succes in xp as the new installer wont run in xp

    Install 2.6.1 on win 7 partition as suggested by default.
    make a new folder on a backup parttion or usb

    copy the new 2.6.1 "traktor.exe" file to (backup)
    copy 2.6.1 folder from "c:\ProgramData\Native Instruments\Traktor 2\Factory Settings" to (backup)

    restart OS, boot into xp

    rename "2.6.0" traktor root dir to "2.6.1"
    make a new dir "2.6.0"
    copy everything from inside "2.6.1" to "2.6.0"

    copy (backup of) "2.6.1" folder into
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Native Instruments\Traktor 2\Factory Settings

    copy (backup of) 2.6.1 traktor.exe into xp where you like
    run traktor.exe
    after loading up, go into preferences\filemanagement in traktor and change rootdir to the new created "2.6.1" dir

    seems to work for me with firmware 45 & 3.0.3 audio6 driver


    maybe same method can be used with early OSX aswell ?
