    Hi,

i've been using pro for a bit now and want to start using the Traktor FX instead of the efx on my dj mixer.

I dont play loopy techno or breaks, so am just looking for some advice on subbtle and basic FX usage in Pro.

I've had a brief look in the forums here and online but cant find anything substantial.

Can anyone suggest some good videos or online tutorials?

    Thanks.

    I would second that.

Also, try to learn to use a few FX's really well rather than trying to get your head round lots of them.

The only problem here is that you may end up sounding a bit predictable if you use the same ones all the times (I'm speaking from experience! I cant stop using the delay, gater and peak filter).

I think the best approach is to take a few, learn them really well. Then move on to the next few etc. The trick with Fx is not to overdo them or use jsut for the sake of it and really know in your tracks where a particular effect works. Its a bit of a black art to be honest - but traktors fx are so good and worth the price alone as they can really add so much to your performance. Enjoy!
