Twang combo very unstable in Logic 7

Recently installed Twang - sounds fantastic. However last night it started crashing Logic when I tried to change presets or alter master volume. Re-started Logic but every time I tried to call up Twang plug in - Logic crashed.
Checked the stand alone and that seemed to have become corrupted. Reinstalled Twang - no presets! carefully trashed all things Twang, reinstalled again - Joy! until I tried changing the amp's master volume then Logic crashed again.
Any similar experiences?

Very similar situation here: AC Box and Sonar 3. I can patch the plugin and everything is fine, but if I change *any* parameter in the plugin, the next time I try to open the project Sonar will crash on the spot.

I had the demo version of AC Box show this behavior and I thought this might be because in the demo total recall is disabled . . . but as of today I have the full-fledged registered version and it still crashes. My first guess was that somehow there were some remainders of the demo version that got in the way. Filled out the support form earlier today, let's see . . .
