Well, in my case make that whiskey ;-) Anyway, that day's session playing around with Buffeater wound up being about 18 hours! of bouncing experiments and variations so FWIW, here's a link to one possibility of 'Buffeater' application :D

MY LIFE IN THE BUFFER OF GHOSTS
Design brief: Each track= One drum machine playing a single 8 bar loop (Sonic Charge’s Microtonic) with ALL variations created by effects alone via…

Twisted Tool’s ‘Buffeater’ > 2C Audio’s ‘Aether’. About half the tracks have additional ‘color’ provided by Kore Soundpack ‘Deep Freq’ running as a ‘ghost track (i.e. in parallel) with original signal alongside and separate from ‘Buffeater/Aether’ output bus.

The triggering of ‘Buffeater’s’ effects was accomplished through 6 tracks of ‘phasing loops’ for an ordered but constantly changing relationship between effects routing and timing. No other additional parts apart from above were dubbed in, just a drum machine and some creative effects jamming away ala ‘virtual laminal systems theory’

Thanks Mr. Twist, certainly it was all my pleasure ;-)

Can't wait to take the template from that day's 'research' and apply to more 'electro-acoustic' inclined material :D

In other words, when taken in context of module combinations...each module with it's own set and then the 'Global' set for combinations...a bottomless pit!

And the great 346 mb sample set is just for the proper demoing! of all theses great snaps, can't wait to load them in elsewhere ;-) They really do a great job for a 'headstart' in understanding 'Buffeater' (which is why I am sure they included them :D)

    Just got it!
I'm mostly going to use it for creating variations and electronfying my beats.
Looking forward to see what I can do with it.

    Later...
