TWISTED TOOLS have released a brand new sample pack entitled Elements.
Elements is a special collection of massive analogue oneshots, heavily processed foley and designed sounds by legendary circuit bender Ivo Ivanov of Glitchmachines.

You can check the promo video here:

This sample pack includes a brand new loop based version of Twisted Tools’ MP16 sampler, called MP16b.

For those who are interested, heres a comparison guide detailing the differences between MP16a and MP16b:

Am I that predictable lol? Though sonictwist was technically the 'next' post :D

Seriously, it's been a tough couple of months financially...GRM 3 bundle, Razor...and many other inspiring tools that begged for a place in my tool box...I even snuck in a 'private commission' with sonictwist himself (thanks again Igor) AND a new laptop!

Have to close my eyes/ears for at least a few more days until that next check comes in and the endless cycle of fun renews itself yet again...THEN I will be back ;-)

btw Jim, your last '2Much Sci-Fi' set was a marvelous companion for testing the GRM Evolution suite (especially 'Grinder'), big thanks once again!

    MP16 Tutorial

    Glad you like it Belly!

We've posted a tutorial for the MP16 sampler. It covers all aspects of the MP16b sampler as well as most aspects of the MP16a in the process.

    Hope it is helpful.

if you like Glitchy Sounds, then yes.... because there is nothing quite like that in the Komplete Library.

also as a Sampler, mp16 has a a different and quite unique angle when compared with Battery.

i suggest you watch the tutorial video above.

can u elaborate a bit?what's ur angle on it?

i'm still getting my head around Battery and Kontakt so i was just wondering.....
i def like the gui and it seems more stripped down than Battery/Kontakt and glitchy sounds i dig when the time is right- i checked some demos and sounds are top notch-

    i'll check the video....

Well, I can't speak for Sowari, but I'll take a stab at answering, though most of what I have to say is mentioned already in the video.

Full disclosure: I'm half of Twisted Tools, but will be honest as can be.

MP16a and MP16b are indeed stripped down when compared to Kontakt or Battery (which I love too!). The fact that they are stripped down makes them super quick to work with though and having them inside Reaktor provides some unique advantages.

Some things I like that make it stand out:

    - Speed. Everything is a click or two away.
    - Easy copy/paste, randomize, MIDI learn, etc.
    - The knobs are 'dummy knobs' so you just need to learn them once with your controller and the knobs will control the active pad's parameters.
    - The mod lanes in the MP16b are very fun as you can set the length and speed independently per pad. You can use them like envelopes too.
    - The re-trigger effect and loop length controls are fun.
    - Quantized start modulation in MP16b.
    - Input quantize with MP16b.
    - A knob for sample select.
    - MP16a has a cool grain/dly effect
    - Preset switching with no load time (While often limiting, Reaktor maps have some cool benefits)

    Hope that helps!
