Twisted Tools Vortex 1.5 Free Update

Hello there!

We're happy to announce that Twisted Tools Vortex has some new great updates and improvements:

- Normal (Non-Granular) Sampler Mode. Many people were asking for a precise, high-quality sampler mode. Its available now!

- Scene Sequencing via MIDI and Scene Edit Modes. Drastically improves the workflow with scenes.

- CPU Optimizations. Vortex has been heavily optimized and you will likely notice approx. 50% (!) reduction in CPU consumption in many cases. Basically its twice "faster" now.

- Some bits here and there as revised manual, improved maschine template etc.

I can't find the samples in this download. How do i use those from previous version. Sorry I'm being dumb here.

Hello,

Samples are included into the Sample Maps which are the part of ensembles. They remained the same as in the previous version.

In case if you used your own samples with older versions of Vortex, just save them into a Map and load in version 1.5

I'm getting a "Denied Access" page on the download updates for Vortex.

I think you have to go out and then back into the specific download page when doing multiple download links from same page, seems to 'reset' and keep that message from happening (in my experience anyway).

 

No sample maps here either.

Hi folks, sorry you had trouble. As far as the maps go on the Vortex download page you have two options, one with library and one without. Are you sure that you selected the correct one? I will look into this on our end shortly to be sure the download is linking correctly as well.

Seems fine on our end. I'm guessing you guys downloaded the version without samples. I've re-labeled them so it is hopefully more clear/obvious.

the Grain/Normal toggle is great!

Would it be possible to implement this per track?

I just missed it. I only got to play with the update briefly last night.

I'll get too really dig into it tonight.

 

I'm loving the combination of Vortex and Buffeater used in Kore along with some of the Deep.... effects packs. Crazy stuff
