Yesterday I became the happy owner of Komplete 10 ultimate and the new KK49s, and have enjoyed browsing through the sounds and plugins. I use Apple Mainstage when playing live, and have already hooked up my Korg Kronos keyboard with it.

I connected the KK49 as well, and I believe this is locked to Midi channel 1. So I switched channel on the Kronos to channel 2. My sustain pedal is connected to the Kronos, on channel 2.

But when I launch Kontakt, the sustain pedal is not responding, even if I set incoming midi to Omni. I've read about others having the same issue, and they removed the assigned channel for the pedal. That didn't work either. I then tried to connect the pedal to Komplete Kontrol, but the result are the same.

Some instruments, like The Giant and other piano stuff, works with the sustain pedal on channel 2, but others don't. I launched Reaktor as well, and I can't get it to work here either.

So, can I possibly change the Midi channel on the KK49s, so that my sustain pedal on Kronos stay on channel 1? Or can I manually assign the channel for the sustain pedal in Kontakt, Reaktor, etc?

I'm fairly used to Kontakt, but Reaktor is new to me.

    My current hookup:
Komplete Kontrol, connected with USB to computer - MIDI 1
Korg Kronos with sustain pedal - MIDI 2. Cable from midi out to midi in on Komplete Kontrol.

    Pedal setup in Mainstage:
    Midi port: 2
    Channel: 1-16
    Midi thru: port 2

    Hoping for help :)
