I'm researching a new possible setup consisting of two DJs, using two VCI 100s hooked up to one laptop spinning Traktor Pro with 4 decks. In the VCI 100 instruction manual, it says that you CAN run two VCI 100s, but I am unsure at this moment how it all works. Pardon the beginner questions (which I am a beginner), but any help would be appreciated.

How would this setup work? Or rather, how come it wouldn't work? I run Traktor out into a Mbox Pro 2 and would I be able to have two headphone out puts? Or maybe split one headphone output into two (possible?) Even though I can see how Traktor would operate using two VCI 100s, is there a TSI map that caters to a dual setup?

    Thanks to anyone who replies!

I use 3.4 atm but have a couple of setup configs that use 2 X VCI-100's - and love it. One config design to use external mixer and the eq's are filters and the other mixes internally.

When Tpro comes of age to my satisfaction I'll go to it and do the same.

Both VCI's have to be the 1.2 firmware, and when you power the second one on, you hold down a couple of buttons and doing that switches it to midi channel two.

Ok, well I'm glad to hear that there's hope.

Now, my current TSI (Ean Golden) setup shows that when my "master level" knob is turned down, the VCI controls deck A/B, and when it is turned up, it controls deck C/D. Can I have one VCI control A/B and the other control C/D with this TSI? Logically, it can work but as we all know, hardware can often be illogical. Based on your experience, what config. would work best for two DJs?

Also, with the MBox Pro2, it has two headphone outputs, but one does not cue (play muted decks). Is it possible to split a jack into two, knowing that both headphones will play the same thing.

    Again, I appreciate your help.

I should research before I ask stupid questions.
