U help me, Me Giorgio: Sequenced Synth? Sound advice?

    Hello,

    I'm looking to recreate the style of synth found in the following Giorgio Moroder song, 'From Here to Eternity.' The synth begins at around:30 seconds but becomes prominent at around :43. It can also be heard in the song Heart of Glass by Blondie (kicks in immediately when the song begins):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtGWVoLGAA8&feature=related. It's a sort repetitive slightly modulating bass synth that seems to remain through the whole song.

    Is this done with a synth sequencer. FM modulation? How might i accomplish this in Reaktor?
