I think it is also meant with "Destructive audio editing"
Moderators also confirmed, that this will be in the next patch.
Moderators please correct me if I'm wrong

I think the thing i'm most looking forward to is the Drag n Drop Midi and Host Automation. This will finally allow *true* integration with my beloved Ableton. Up until now I have not been impressed in this area.

Macro knobs will be sweet too... god I can't wait :D

Macro knobs are the biggest for me, and then the editing updates.

I wonder if I can convert my battery kits to MPC format and then import them?

believe it or not, some people had difficulties as they could not monitor what was coming in as there soundcard did not permit so they suggested the above and ni listened, i personally dont need it either, but a big thumbs up to ni for customer support.

yeah can't wait. the lack of time stretch sucks for this update but at least they mentioned that they are working on it even if it can't make this update.
I'm about to buy abelton live (mainly due to the crap with AU plugin's not working with maschine and I haven't heard the best reviews of kore for my style of workflow)
I'm really interested to see how the mpc progam import will work (hopefully with the 2000xl! as I know alot of us heads use mpc 2000xl's) should be really cool.

Same here - those are about the only features that are keeping Maschine from being absolutely perfect for my needs.

whoa i never noticed •"Consolidate Audio" copies all project-related files into one folder, can't wait it's like torture im checking this forum like two-three times a day haha
what itches the most though is trying that sp1200/mpc 60 mode, i pray to god NI did it with the sp so you can change what pitch it's set on and the lofi changing due to that like the real thing.. if you guys pull this off like im picturing it i'm marrying the maschine to death for real

I'm afraid I'll never use my SP12 again if the SP1200 emulation is spot on.

Oh, time stretch...why are you so elusive. I hate you, and I love you at the same time.

it will come, it pretty much has to for Maschine to be considered a legitimate contender.

I dream of the day when I may play a keyboard and have Sample a loop, play it back in time and allow me to sample another loop without breaking my "flow'.
