Underbelly - Self Checkout (Tomi Kokki Remix) [House]

My entry for the Underbelly's latest remix contest. Decided to take a house approach on his track, transforming it into something quite different. Heavily utilized Maschine with this track and this is one of the rare cases, where I've produced a track 100% "in the box" (Maschine + Cubase).

I like it. I like the evolution from intro, but the hats were a tad bit too loud in the mix, and that’s me not listening wearing headphones.

Overall this is solid

That was actually what the original artist, Underbelly, said as well: hi-hats are a bit too loud. And I actually just today uploaded an update of it (aka replaced the file on Soundcloud), where I lowered the volume of the hi-hats as well as cut 1 minute away in order to make it a bit more pure listening friendly (also per feedback of the original artist) with few little tweaks here and there. As this was a remix competition entry, and unfortunately my schedule was super packed back then, it definitely needed some adjustments later.
