    Hi folks,
I have been having a really hard time figuring out the "Audio IN" routing for Reaktor 6 when I am using it as a VST-primarily in Ableton.

    Specific questions:
Does changing the routing in the stand alone version have any effect on routing when using Reaktor as a VST?
Is the only way to get more than one stereo pair into Reaktor VST by using Reaktor 6 FX?

    Most important question:
Is there a way to actually see where inputs are routed into the Reaktor VST?

If anyone wants to just point me to some where in one of the manuals, that would be great-I have searched but I haven't found it yet. Thanks!

'In Routing' is for FX, so you need Reaktor 6 FX.
my question to you is what do you want to do what are you trying to do?
if you want extra inputs, you need to create them in the Reaktor Ensemble.

I don't believe that is 100% accurate. My testing shows that Reaktor 6 will give me a stereo input, whereas Reaktor 6 FX will give me 8 stereo inputs. For anyone else wanting answers to my questions, here's what I figured out today (I only know this to be true for Ableton):

Does changing the routing in the stand alone version have any effect on routing when using Reaktor as a VST?
-No. Routing of audio in the VST is completely enclosed within the host DAW environment. All inputs and outputs only refer to inputs and outputs that can be routed within the tracks of the DAW to Reaktor itself and do not refer to inputs and outputs of the soundcard.

Is the only way to get more than one stereo pair into Reaktor VST by using Reaktor 6 FX?
-Yes. Reaktor 6 gives you one stereo input pair. Reaktor 6 FX gives you 8 stereo input pairs (even though you can add as many as you want within the Reaktor VST, only the first 8 pairs will be addressable from the other Ableton tracks).

Is there a way to actually see where inputs are routed into the Reaktor VST?
-Since inputs in the Reaktor VST environment don't actually refer to the audio soundcard, but to inputs and outputs that are available from other ableton tracks, then you have to just look at the drop down menus when selecting the inputs and outputs in the ableton "in/out section" drop downs for each track.
