So I tried to look through the manual for a detailed description, and go online, but nothing out there I found really explains the differences in the Color Modes for Traktor. Other than making it more colorful (Spectrum), or plain (X Ray), what does everything mean within the waveform?

For instance, in Spectrum, there's several colors. What is the logic behind it? What colors does the low frequencies show up as, how can you "view" vocal frequencies, etc?

I know other platforms will specify what it's related to, and in Serato, you can see the frequency change as you use the knobs. I love Traktor for its versatility in mapping, so I'm not bouncing from it, but always was curious how to read the wave forms.

    Thanks!!!

PS: I found this ancient article which helps, but if anyone has other insights or resources, please post! Thank you

The visible light for us, humans, is the optical spectrum.
like the colors in a rainbow. From low frequencies in red, to high in violet
