undo

This has almost certainly been asked for a million times, but undo is essential. We need this as a generic feature in all NI products. The ability to have an undo in either standalone or as plugin. How hard is it to create a change log and cycle back through it?

Come on NI, this is basic and essential these days. Please add this in 2010.

I find this omission to be almost unbelievable. Even the ability to go back a couple of steps would help. I've had my first really big editing session tonight and I can't believe how much time I've wasted when things have gone wrong and I've had to manually recreate everything.

OK, I could save before every step but that would interupt workflow to an enormous degree.

There's so much power and so many failities available in Battery, it's a shame that its use is so hobbled by the lack of such a basic requirement.

 

Yeah I agree, its a shame. Ive moved to Ableton Drum Racks now almost entirely because they have more power and routing potential imo, but most importantly I can UNDO.

NI, youre seriously missing a trick with something so basic here.

 

I agree this would be very very useful.
