    I just read about this:

OCZ preps neural headband controller for release

and thought it would be interesting to start a thread on unique controllers.

A long time ago (I think it was 1972 or 73) I had an AlphaScan biofeedback monitor which was a brainwave detector (alpha, beta and theta) and trainer.

This is something like that but also has muscular and ocular response output.

Gives new meaning to the phrase - "can't get it out of my mind".

plus if you can't afford a lemur try this out monome.

    http://monome.org/
    ---
these so many different home made controllers out there
i have looked at reactivisions fludical tracker that seems to be good for midi but, also microcontrollers are good to learn a area of computing known as 'physical computing' interface a
microcontroller like ardunio ,wiring, pic, velleman code yourself an interface with the real world with software like processing
or c++ ,wish reaktor had more stuff for interfacing custom devices & recieving digital signals ,you could just hook up a potentiometer and tweak .add some buttons and switches
    there you have it.

tenori on is nothing like monome. it doesnt work like monome, it doesnt control things like monome, it doesn't sound like monome.

Sensesurface is one of the most clever stuff I've seen in controller land. I'm holding my breath for this to become commercial - Behringer or someone please pick this up!
