Universal Binary update still on track?

Is Universal Binary update for Pro 53 still on track for January? getting worrying close to the end of the month

yes, me also I await impatiently this UB version.

I thought that it would arrive soon because there was a good rhytm , end of the last year 2006 for the update!

 

Again postboned for another month without a single word. Poor service.

 

Oh for f**k sake I don't believe this Why do they even bother putting a list up if they just forever overrun.

For whatever reason, NI has had difficulty in migrating their software to the Intel Mac platform. NI seems to keep publishing their most optimistic dates, so I wouldn't put alot of trust in that Mac UB schedule.

Eventually they will finish the migration -- hopefully sooner than later.

 

Absolutely unbelievable...
One of their first ever plugins, maybe even their first VI and its nearly the last to see the light for an update.
I'm very dissapointed about this, i use PRO53 at the studio all the time on the G5, but the main studio machine a MacPro Duo Core is all on UB now, nearly every other plugin we run has been ported over to UB, and we are still waiting for this one.

Please give us something guys, to run without it at all is just ludicrous after all these promises.. Delayed Till November... Delayed Till December, Delayed Till January, Delayed Till February... ffs COME ON !!

Hey, it could be worse...

I'm not the biggest fan of NI but I must say that they are at least trying to communicate with their customers. If you wanna see what REAL stonewalling is about, you should check out the cubase.net forums.

 

Anybody waiting for the inevitable "Pro-53 Delayed Until 2010" message ?

 

"Unfortunately delays are resulting due to the extensive development and testing requirements."

Are these the same "extensive development and testing requirements" that make Abs 4 such a mature and stable product. (Still love it though!)

Is this update 3hree months late now?

I've been using NI since the beginning and I'm sorry to say that they have always been like that. Pushing deadlines whenever it suits them was a joke back then and still is! But I still use NI products 'cause they rock when they work!

So take the release plan as a release commitment, meaning that at least NI haven't abandoned Pro-53 like I have!

 

28th Feb... It's just not going to happen...I've given up on this!!!

Just got Arturia's Prophet/VS... Universal Binary and sounds great!

Re-programming my library right now.

 

I feel like a little kid who's parents keep telling him they're going to Disneyland over and over again but always go back on their word at the last moment.

I hope this doesn't lead to some serious psychological damage when I grow up.

 

Another lost customer, ive gone over to arturia to a far superior product.
As for Native instruments, never again i'm afraid...

 

Now they can't even be bothered to updated the list, still says Feb, great customer service NI.

They have moved the last 5 plugins update to UB to March. Lets see, that's 5 UB updates in one month....who believes that one? Hell they could not even get one out in February.
