Correction: The version installed was 6.0.4, the only way to fix my issue would be to manually install the latest version but I don't know if NI gives us access to the Setups.exe outside of NA, and NA only gives me the version 6.0.4 so I'm stuck I guess :/

Alright so I did the exact same thing and the latest version (6.2.2) was in the .RAR (Instead of a .ISO???) now everything is fixed. I just hope that the next Kontakt update in NA won't cause another problem...
Anyway thank you for your time Blindeddie!

Native Access or the control panel of windows?
I never uninstal via Native Access. You can do that with your operating system.
Or do you delete via explorer?
The latter would be less good since the system does not receive any information.

Some times ago I've the Kontakt player also. It's named since version 6 „Kontakt“.
Without followed by a number or the word player. The same name as the full version.
I deinstalled Kontakt some month ago. I like Reaktor more.
Do you followed the path in Native Access to find your exe or dll file?

Yes, and I have a custom folder for my VSTs and one only for NI products
