Will the latest update (1.2.7) include all the fixes in the previous releases?

Also is there a specific way to install? For instance would i have to uninstall the previous installation (traktor and Audio 8) and then run the update?

I've read on the forums that people are having problems when they still have the current setup and run the update.

This is for Windows 7 64.

    Thanks in advance

I wish I could assist you with this, but I will share my recent experience with you.

It's only 11:13 PM here in Washington, D.C. and I'm a working club dj each day of the week. I'm home a little early tonite without pay simply because my Traktor Scratch Pro continues to not work properly.

At first, it was just Absolute Mode not working, but I'm able to get around that until the new T2 arrives. Deck A worked fine tonite, but as I cue'd Deck B and did a back spin on my vinyl, Deck B went forward. All sorts of things went bonkers with the software. I then had to reboot my laptop only to see that didn't help at all either. I went into my bag and grabbed the install cd and re-installed it. Still nothing!

Honestly, I'm disgusted being that I have submitted emails to technical support and still after day 4, no response. I guess we all are being forced to just wait until April Fools Day to buy the new T2 like Fools just to get a fix after investing tons of money in Traktor products. I went from Traktor Duo to Traktor Scratch Pro. Audio 4 dj to Audio 8 DJ and have every color vinyl produced including the limited edition neon colors. I guess I was completely out of line by telling my buddies to purchase Traktor Scratch Pro. No support and horrible product. They too have issues with theirs and have all gone back to using Serato. Guess what.... tomorrow I'm going to buy Serato myself.

I've been all over the forum trying to find information and once again "Still Nothing". Good luck to you my friend.

Hash dude well at least your staying positive :)

I've had my hiccups while performing and I bet there's more out there experiencing the same.

The alternative is some other DVS. I've tried Rane's Serato and M-Audio's Torq (used to own but Connectiv isn't the best audio interface). Now that Torq has 4 deck capability I may use that instead. Only got Audio DJ 8 for its audio interface which is probably still ok and the 4 deck feature (at the time Torq wasn't), the customer service on all fronts is just non-existent.

I'm using the old version (included in the box) and it hasn't given me the issues you pointed out but it has stopped unexpectedly on two occasions, saved the crash report but its irrelevant. lucky me :( Serato might be a wise choice b/c of the ableton functionality.

    cheers

    Just install 1.2.7
It installs all the drivers you need and all previous fixes.

@ DJ Knock, You have not actually described your problem here so no-one on the forum can help. If you are having an issue with one deck there are many things that could be wrong.

Installing T2 will not cure a problem with T1. Could this be a hardware issue with the Audio 8..?

If you have Support Ticket number post it and i will escalate it.
You should be aware the Support tickets usually take between 3-5 days before being answered so your ticket is not so old yet.
